We have worked with a wide range of clients with different interests across the sectors. Here is a small sample of some of our recent work.

 

A Local Infrastructure Organisation (LIO)

The contract was to enable the organisation to take on a wider role as a LIO. The intention was to respond to ChangeUp and other government initiatives, to ensure that an effective infrastructure for the voluntary and community sector was in place. To do this we

A Volunteering Partnership

Our role here was to bring together the volunteer centres in a unitary authority to develop a joint approach to volunteer training. We worked with the groups to identify training needs, secure appropriate funding and designed, delivered and evaluated a successful training programme. In addition we carried out research into the training and development needs of organisations working with volunteers.

 

A non-departmental public body (NDPB)

This contract enabled us to work with a number of regional infrastructure bodies across the country to evaluate their performance against agreed criteria. We were able to adapt and respond flexibly to the needs of both the NDPB and the regional bodies to ensure successful outcomes of the process

 

A major national Charity

For a number of years now, we have been delivering training both to managers and staff teams on effective supervision and performance management. The emphasis was on developing interpersonal skills and building confidence and commitment to the process

 

A local community partnership

The purpose of this contract was to help the partnership, located in a disadvantaged neighbourhood, redefine its vision and purpose and to secure commitment from key stakeholders. This followed a successful capital bid for a new building, which had been the primary focus for a number of years. During the contract we

A local community development organisation

A contract with this organisation over a number of years has enabled them to develop a new business plan and secure additional resources for the development of innovative new services. This has resulted in a 10-fold increase in funding and importantly a clearer understanding by the Board of their roles and responsibilities. The organisation now provides a range of training and skills development to the local community, enabling local residents to take up jobs within the organisation. The contract has included
